3. Arranging and Confirming Rentals

3.1 Reservation Procedure

To reserve a charter service, the following requirements must be met:

• Attain the minimum age requirement of 18 years
• Ensure all provided personal details are current and correct
• Submit the stipulated initial payment as indicated in the reservation confirmation
• Consent to abide by the Terms & Conditions stated

3.2 Rental Confirmation

Confirmation of your reservation is secured once the payment has been processed and you receive formal confirmation in writing. We maintain the authority to decline service to anyone at our discretion.

3.3 Charter Availability

The availability of charters is reliant on the accessibility of the vessel and favorable meteorological conditions. Every effort will be made to meet your requested schedule within reason.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All quoted amounts are in € and incorporate all relevant taxes unless mentioned otherwise. Price points can be adjusted without prior notice.

4.2 Payment Schedule

• Deposit: Required payment of 50% of the total cost of the charter at the time of reservation
• Balance: The remaining amount is payable 48 hours preceding the charter's departure
• Additional fees (if applicable): Payable after the charter service is concluded

4.3 Payment Methods

Payments can be made using widely accepted credit cards, wire transfers, and certified cheques. All payments are securely processed with encryption.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

• If you cancel more than 72 hours before the scheduled departure, you will receive a full refund minus any processing charges.
• Cancellations made between 24 to 72 hours before departure will qualify for a 50% refund.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to departure.

5.2 Weather Cancellations

Should the weather be considered unsafe for sailing by our captain, two options will be available:

• We can reschedule your trip to the next available slot without any extra charges.
• A complete refund will be offered in case rescheduling isn’t an option.

5.3 Mechanical Issues

In the case that your designated vessel experiences mechanical failure, we’ll strive to offer an appropriate substitute. If we can’t find a suitable replacement, you will receive a full refund.

6. Safety and Conduct

6.1 Safety Requirements

Every passenger is required to:

• Adhere to all directions given by the crew
• Utilize safety gear as mandated
• Inform about any health conditions that may impact their well-being
• Stay within the specified areas on the boat

6.2 Prohibited Items

Items that are forbidden on board include the following:

• Glass vessels
• Controlled substances

• More beverages than what is considered moderate consumption

6.3 Conduct

Passengers should behave respectfully at all times. Should the conduct of any passenger create a security concern or spoil the atmosphere for other individuals, we retain the authority to conclude the journey prematurely, and no refund will be given.

• Any form of indirect, resultant, or retributive losses

7.2 Insurance Coverage

Our organization has in place a comprehensive maritime insurance policy that covers our fleet and activities. It is the passenger's duty to arrange their personal and travel insurance.

7.3 Assumption of Risk

8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes

Our authority extends to the alteration of travel plans, pathways, or timetables due to elements such as weather dynamics, safety priorities, or necessary operational changes. We commit to endeavoring towards providing equivalent alternatives when changes are made.

9. Force Majeure

Our responsibility does not include bearing the onus for postponements, revocations, or itinerary amendments brought about by events outside our sphere of influence, explicitly including, but not reduced to:

• Excessive meteorological phenomena
• Catastrophic natural events

• Harbor discontinuations
• Technical malfunctions
